Keep Right on Walking
Keep walking though there’s no place to get to / don’t try to see through / the distances. / That’s not for human beings. Move within, but don’t move the way fear makes you. — Rumi
Only those who know themselves to be Beloved can consistently maintain the resonance needed to sustain the planet. They are fully integrated in their human and spiritual selves (much of the time), need no validations , accolades, or certificates. Without fanfare or loud noises they live in this world and are the Wise beings walking among us filled with joy, not to mention unbelievable humility, hope, and love. They meet your gaze with compassion and can laugh at the stupidity of human foibles; those who have forgotten to Whom they belong.
The Beloved are everywhere and in all walks of life. They don’t need to belong to a paraticular tribe (though they might), for they are free spirits and already in the tribe of the One that includes everybody. They’ve walked thousands of miles, but their feet are uncalloused. Their hands have toiled at many tasks, but the skin is smooth and soft. Their bodies have endured disappointments and carried many struggles and burdens, but they walk with dignity and grace, backs erect; they know they are Beloved. Their eyes have witnessed many tragedies, but still fill with tears of empathy over human and environmental suffering.
The Beloved appear at odd times or say meaningful words at just the perfect moment. You wonder if there might be tiny wings on their backs. But they are just like you and me. The only difference might be that somewhere on their journey—regardless of disillusionment, being dismissed or ignored— they came to a knowing that they are of the Beloved and chose to live fully in that experience.
Their prayers, meditations, and contemplative activities have contributed to holding a still point in the center of the universe for many. Should you need a reminder, in subtle but profound ways these wise souls are always acknowledging that we too are of the Beloved!
In the rhythm of a practice, life begins to fit together at the water table level. You feel the artistry moving through a web of conduits. —Rumi

It was my birthday as well. Thank you! This is a beautiful reminder of the Beloved and the One that includes everyone!
I softened in reading this.
Thank you for this perfect Birthday gift as I complete 78 embodied years today, 7/7, and move tomorrow into unfolding my 79th. From one Beloved to Another. Much Love, Gaye
